Bandcamp no longer allows AI music, and Spotify now leaves AI Personas out of its recommendations by default. AI Record Shop sells 68 albums by 30 AI bands direct to fans, as files you keep. Here is what changed, with dates and sources, and how buying here works.
Why AI albums are hard to buy now
Spotify: AI Personas left out of recommendations
On , Spotify announced an AI Persona badge, shown from mid-September 2026 on artist profiles whose identity may be AI-generated. By default, Spotify leaves AI Personas out of its editorial and algorithmic recommendations, unless you already follow them.

Romek Addams built this shop after Bandcamp’s ban, because AI music needed a place to be sold. We found no other store selling AI bands’ albums direct to fans.

Every album here is made by Romek Addams for VibeMusicAIRecords, with a range of AI tools rather than just one. He writes the lyrics and the prompts, picks the takes, edits and masters every album, and makes the artwork. Nothing here imitates or impersonates real-world artists. More on the About page.
