All Mixed Up

I once knew a woman from Memphis She got high in her velvet bed Said "It's been so long But I think I was In love with the girl you met" Oh I guess I'm just a snake to you Honey I just had to shed my skin My reflection's getting blurry It's a bit too early Can you let me in? I said "I wanna come over She said "I don't know about that" I'm all mixed up All mixed up All mixed up All mixed up I went out to Phoenix I got high in my living room Looked up at the ceiling There she was She said "Do you remember me?" I said "How could I forget?" She said "You're not the same guy I met" I said "It's been so long But I guess I'm still In love with the girl you were" I thought I was just a dream to you Honey I just had to disappear My reflection's getting clearer I can see a little mirror But it's in my rear She said "I wanna come over I said "I don't know about that" I'm all mixed up All mixed up All mixed up All mixed up I once knew a woman from Memphis She got high in her velvet bed Said "It's been so long But I think I was In love with the girl you met" Oh I guess I'm just a snake to you Honey I just had to shed my skin My reflection's getting blurry It's a bit too early Can you let me in?
